Airtel tied up with Google to provide a free access to Google search, Gmail and Google + in India

      Google India yesterday launched a innovative service in India with Airtel named as free zone. In
which Airtel will allow all airtel customers to access Google services with no data charges in India.

The voice president and managing director of Google India Rajan Anandan announced this press release yesterday. And said that
"This service will make information available easily in a way that it will benefit to everyone."



Available services that customer can use freely with Airtel free zone :

1. Google Search :
With a airtel free zone, all airtel customers can now search on Google, for what they are looking for. Morever customers can visit the first page of a website linked from google search result. Customers will be automatically prompted to purchase a data pack, when they will click on a second link of that website.

2. Gmail
Customers can check there Gmail Inbox with free zone. As well as can send e-mails. But again customer will be prompted to purchase a data pack, when they are going to download a e-mail attachments.

3. Google +
One can share ideas, chat with a friends, can make new friends and can access all Google + on there Internet enabled mobile phone.

There are some conditions too.. Take a look on that :

1. Customers can access 1 GB data on airtel free zone for a month.
2. Airtel Free zone can only accessed from Opera Mini or Default browser of internet enabled mobile phones.

How to access Airtel Free zone on moblile :

1. Start Opera Mini or Default browser of your mobile phone.
2. Go to :

3. Sign in to your Gmail Account
4. Now start searching.. e-mailing and sharing !
